7. Place a free ad in San Antonio Express News 210-250-2345

Make a flyer and Post at Veterinarians, Bulletin Boards, Groomers, Pet Stores, Gas Stations, Telephone Poles, etc.
Lost Dogs of Texas has a free template: freetexasflyer.com. Also, watch the ‘Found’ ads and respond to any that may possibly be your pet. After a week of wandering, your white poodle may look like a “gray mixed breed’.

8. Check with local Veterinary clinics in case your pet has been injured and transported to the clinic by a passerby.

Above all, don’t give up searching for your lost pet after just a few days or even weeks. Your pet may wander for some time before being turned in to a shelter.

Don’t forget! Microchipping is your first defense so when you get your pet home have them microchipped. Keep the info
current.
